It is pure joy have a children's leaders who was born after our arrival in Togo in 1995 join Jayne in training children's leaders. Yendupaab is one of the best.

Sometimes God just changes your plans for the day. Things like taking the daughter of one of the village pastors out of the local hospital where she had been wasting away for weeks and taking her 2 hours away to a Baptist Hospital takes priority. The doctors, filled with the compassion of Jesus, operated within 2 hours of her arrival and she is a healthy, living testimony of God's love today.

What would a Christmas play be without an angel?

We always teach our students and leaders that we are in Togo to build God's Kingdom and not The Ministry of Jesus' Kingdom. One of the ways we do this is working with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. We were privileged to have Narcisse, the new leader for northern Togo live with us for 6 weeks while he was looking for a place to stay.

When we brought Essodezam (r) into our home from the streets a year ago, we had no idea what as in store for us. Essodezam's presence has also made our home the regular hang out for our neighbor, John.
Picture
we train our leaders and we look for the best places to send them for training. Jeremie and Immaculee trained for leading village churches in Youth With A Mission's Pioneer Church Planter's school.

We have been working with students long enough now that we are beginning to see several weddings every year. It is a joy to see couples that come together at our student centers go out into the world as Christ's Ambassadors.
Picture
As we build relationships with our students, we help them build relationships with one another. Jeremie and Immaculee have finished their training to return to the villages and lead the churches there. Jacques is in his 6th year of medical school and soon will be marrying Germaine, who is finishing her university studies.

Pastor Nakordja, the current president of our partner church, Ministère International de Jésus, came to Kara to explain the vision of planting 30 new churches in 5 years.
