Nakordja KOMBATE was one of the 3 "Zone Leaders" we began to work with in 1995. He is now the president of our partner church, Ministère International de Jésus, Nakordja also leads all the churches in the Central Region from his base in Sotoubuoa, where he began planting churches in 2003.
Nakpergou LARE was also one of the 3 "Zone Leaders" we began working with in 1995. He was president of MIJ from 2012-2017 and is responsible for the Dapaong church and all the churches in the northern Savannah Region.
Damigou NAPOLI was also one of the 3 "Zone Leaders" we began working with in 1995. He was chosen by his peers to be the first pastor from MIJ to be the president of the denomination. In 1999, Damigou went to Guerin-Kouka, where he successfully planted a group of churches and raised up pastors from the Konkomba tribe, a people group that previously had produced no Togolese pastors. Damigou now leads the church in the capital of Lome and supervises the student center their.
Nagbandkoa KOMBATE and his wife, Claire, both came up through our Student Program. Nagbandjoa and Claire live with in our Kara Student Center, where he leads the Kara church and is responsible for all of the churches in the Kara Region, including the churches in Guerin-Kouka.
Nadja, "Nixon", was supported through our Student Program through high school, the university and his master's program. He now leads the agronomy division of one of Togo's largest employers. He lives in Sotoubuoa, where he is a key leader in the local church and where he is playing a vital role in the development of our training farm for village church leaders. Nadja was elected to the Board of MIJ in 2017.
